live course starts august 5th 2026
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or looking to deepen an existing practice, this online mindfulness course provides a safe and supportive space to learn practical mindfulness skills that make a real difference to everyday life.
The Mindfulness Now 8-Week Programme is a structured, evidence-based course integrating both Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). It’s designed to support people from all walks of life in managing stress, anxiety, and low mood, while deepening well-being, self-awareness and compassion.
What Does the Programme Involve?
As a qualified Mindfulness Now teacher accredited by the Mindfulness Teachers Association (MTA) you can be assured I am committed to high standards, ethics, and ongoing professional practice.

Not at all. Most people come along with little or no prior experience of mindfulness or meditation. This online mindfulness course is designed to be accessible from the very beginning. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, you’ll learn everything you need as we go, at a pace that works for you.
Apps can be a useful supplement, but they’re not the same as a structured, live course with a qualified teacher. The Mindfulness Now course builds week by week, with guided practice, real-time reflection, and the space to ask questions and work through what comes up. You’re learning in a live group with others on the same journey, not just following audio prompts on your own. The difference in depth and integration tends to be significant.
Each weekly session runs for approximately 90 minutes. Between sessions, you’ll be encouraged to practise for around 10-20 minutes a day using the guided audio recordings available through the Your Mind Works app. Most people find this manageable once it becomes part of their routine, and the programme is designed to build gradually. If life gets in the way some weeks, that’s fine too, the aim is progress, not perfection.
We encourage you to attend all eight sessions live where you can – the group experience is part of what makes the course work. Sessions are not recorded, both to protect the safe, confidential space of the group and to keep the focus on live, interactive learning. If you do miss a session, you won’t be left behind. All your weekly resources and guided audio practices are available through the Your Mind Works app, so you can keep up with your home practice in your own time. I’m always happy if you want to check in with me or ask any questions between sessions too.
Many people come to the course precisely because life feels hard right now, and mindfulness can be genuinely helpful during difficult periods. That said, if you’re currently experiencing significant mental health difficulties, it’s worth having a conversation before you book to make sure this is the right support for you at this time. You’re welcome to get in touch, and we can talk it through. There’s no obligation, and I’d rather have an honest conversation than have you sign up for something that isn’t right for you.
Yes. As well as the online mindfulness course programmes, I run in-person courses in North Warwickshire, conveniently located near Tamworth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and Burton upon Trent. In-person and online courses follow the same Mindfulness Now programme and the same quality of teaching. Check the events page for upcoming in-person course dates or get in touch by sending a message below.
Yes. You can spread the cost across two payments of £130, the first due on booking and the second one month later. Just select the instalment option at checkout.
The course runs Wednesday evenings from 5th August, with eight live 90-minute sessions and a practice week in early September, finishing on 30th September. The cost covers the full eight weeks, including all resources and audios. And if you’re away for a week over the summer, a catch-up is built in, so a holiday won’t put you behind.

Your Mind Works
psychologist, integrative psychotherapist + coach
Mindfulness changed how I relate to my own mind, and I’ve seen it do the same for the people I work with. I know what it’s like when you understand exactly what needs to change, but something keeps getting in the way. The overthinking. The stress that won’t quiet down. The gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. Mindfulness doesn’t close that gap by adding more to your plate. It works by changing your relationship with what’s already there.
Alongside 25 years working across psychology, therapy, and coaching, I am passionate about practising and teaching mindfulness to people navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic pain, and the general weight of a busy life. I bring warmth, straight talk, and a genuine enthusiasm for this work because I’ve seen what a well-taught mindfulness course can do. Whether you’re brand new to this or returning to a practice that’s gone quiet, there’s a way forward, and we can find it together.
I’m an accredited Mindfulness Now teacher, a graduate member of the British Psychological Society, and hold an MSc in Health Psychology
