retreat day 2026
Mindful Business Owner
I’m excited to bring this day to you, and I’m currently confirming a venue local to Tamworth with a space we can enjoy and share a nice lunch together – most important, I know!
I’ve put together the outline of the day, along with a short form where you can register your interest and availability. This will help me shape the day around you before I finalise things.
My aim is to make the day accessible and keep costs low, but as you can appreciate, the final figure will depend on the numbers and venue.
I will also be running an online version over four weeks, so if you’re not local or taking a day out isn’t possible, fill out the form and let me know that’s your preferred option.
There’s no commitment when you register your interest at this stage. It just helps me organise things.
the mindful business owner retreat day
It can be easy to put everything else first, clients, emails, new ideas, problems that need solving, and the endless list of things demanding your attention.
You love what you do, but if you’re honest, you rarely fully switch off. Your mind keeps going even when the laptop closes, and the worries, decisions, or unfinished tasks can pull you back into work when you’re trying to rest or just enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build.
Whether stress has started to creep in, your health has started to suffer, or you simply want to regain a little more balance, The Mindful Business Owner Retreat Day is your invitation to pause and reset.
In one spacious, supportive day, you’ll step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself, so you can feel clearer, more settled and able to enjoy the business and life you’re building.
This will be a relaxed day with space to learn, reflect, talk and breathe. My aim is for you to leave feeling clearer, more settled and more connected to yourself, with practical ideas you can take back into your business and everyday life.
this day may be especially helpful if you:
Four mind and wellbeing sessions, including:
The day will be relaxed and practical, allowing you enough time to pause, reflect, learn and gently reset. Click on the session titles below to learn more.
As a business owner, work doesn’t always stay neatly inside office hours. Your mind can keep scanning, planning and problem-solving long after the day is technically done.
We’ll look at why switching off can feel difficult, what keeps your mind in “always on” mode, and how mindfulness can help you create more space between you and the constant pull of your work.
You’ll explore simple ways to pause, settle your nervous system under pressure and create a more intentional end to the working day.
When you run your own business, your mind can have a lot to say. It can question your prices, replay conversations, worry about what people think, or tell you that you need to wait until everything is perfect before you do the next thing.
In this session, we’ll explore how overthinking, self-talk, and self-doubt can affect confidence, decision-making, visibility and the way you show up in your business.
You’ll learn how to spot when your mind is pulling you into unhelpful loops, step back from them and respond in ways that help you take action.
This isn’t about positive thinking or pretending you’re fearless. It is about building a clearer, kinder and more helpful relationship with your mind, so you can trust yourself and take your next steps with confidence.
Client requests, messages, favours, extra tasks, blurred working hours, and the pressure to be available can quietly take more from you than you realise.
In this session, we’ll explore how to protect your time and energy without becoming defensive or unavailable. You’ll look at why saying no, asking for what you need or holding a boundary can feel uncomfortable, especially when you care about doing a good job and not letting people down.
We’ll look at how to communicate clearly, respond rather than react, and stay connected to what matters when guilt, pressure or people-pleasing show up. The aim is to help you feel more confident holding healthy boundaries, so you can keep going without stretching yourself too thin.
It’s easy to keep chasing the next thing without stopping to ask whether the business you are building still supports the life you want.
We’ll take time to reflect on what success actually means for you now, beyond the next goal, booking, launch or income milestone.
We’ll also look at what positive psychology can teach us about happiness, meaning and fulfilment, and why success is not only about the bottom line. You’ll explore what matters most to you now, where things are aligned and where some things may need to shift.
You’ll leave with a clearer idea of how to keep growing your business in a way that supports your health, your work and the life you want to enjoy.
Your wellbeing is not separate from your business. It shapes your thinking, decision-making, communication, confidence and ability to keep doing the work you care about.
This day is about giving you space to notice what has been taking your energy, reconnect with what supports you, and learn practical psychology and mindfulness tools to help you work, respond, and recover more intentionally.
So you can keep growing your business without losing yourself in it, and have more energy to enjoy the life you are creating around it.
This will be a relaxing day with enough structure to be useful and enough breathing room to feel like a genuine reset.
Some of the finer details will depend on the final venue, but the plan is to include:
